Paul Zeus — Vocals & Multi-Instrumentalist

Paul Zeus is a seasoned musician with over 40 years of performance experience. He specializes in lead and harmony vocals, rhythm and lead guitar, and fingerstyle acoustic playing, with additional skills on mandolin, bass, banjo, and blues harp—bringing depth and versatility to Jack Rabbit Slim’s sound. Rooted in classic and folk rock, his background also includes jazz, country, and classical guitar, with formal study at the University of Washington.

Paul began playing guitar at age 11 and grew up in a deeply musical Southern California family, where early influences ranged from piano-side standards to iconic artists like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, CSN&Y, and James Taylor. He has performed extensively across California and Washington, earned recognition in songwriting competitions, and ran a successful wedding music business. After years in Seattle’s music scene, he relocated to Napa Valley in 2021, where he continues to perform and create.

James Brown — Vocals & Guitar

James is an accomplished singer and guitarist with decades of band experience and a uniquely expressive playing style. For over 30 years, he has been a member of Napa’s alternative rock mainstay Soda Canyon, bringing seasoned stage presence and creative depth to every performance.

Together, they deliver rich harmonies, tight musicianship, and genuine connection — no backing tracks, no gimmicks, just real live music.
